When I see the falling leaves
And feel the autumn air
Reminders of this special time
Miraculously appear

Mounds of leaves upon the ground
With colors soft and warm
Dazzled by this special time
Each artist's pallet forms

Painting pictures of the past
When we all joined with love
Spending days of Thankfulness
The ones we now dream of

Table filled with blessings
On this Thanksgiving Day
All now joined in prayerfulness
For those who've gone away

Yet we know within our hearts
Their spirits always near
Making this the very best
Of every precious year.
